GAME is said to be teaming with Microsoft to introduce Xbox 360 Achievements to customers who pick up the latest titles from their stores, a source has told Stick Twiddlers.

The GAME exclusive Achievements will not be part of a title's mandatory gamerscore, however, but will instead be logged in a separate GAME section.
It is believed that users will be awarded a special midnight purchase Achievement, for example, when buying a new release at an after hours event.
The scheme is said to be the first of many planned between Microsoft and the retailer between now and the launch of the next Xbox.
GAME recently announced plans to hold a series of lock-ins ahead of the launch of Dead Space 3.
Fans can reserve their places in-store or via GAME's Twitter account. Lock-ins for future blockbuster releases will be organised should this one prove popular.
