The DmC: Devil May Cry launch trailer introduces the game's story and characters, before showcasing the combat system.
Dante is seen performing a variety of combos with multiple different weapons against some of the game's enemies and bosses.
DmC: Devil May Cry will reboot the franchise, shifting the setting to a parallel universe with a younger, grittier Dante.
Dante will also partner with new character Kat, a skilled medium and psychic who guides him through her ability to see into Limbo, the demon realm.
The game is developed by Ninja Theory, the team behind Enslaved: Odyssey To The West.

Users will be able to download a title update shortly after launch that includes the bonus Bloody Palace mode.
Bloody Palace mode has been a staple of the series since Devil May Cry 2, pitting players in a gauntlet of arena battles against enemies and bosses from the story campaign.
DmC: Devil May Cry is out now for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will be followed by the PC version on January 25.
