New 'Resident Evil' game announced
With Resident Evil 4 already in development for the Wii, Capcom has announced a further instalment of the game for Nintendo's best-selling console.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles will be an action/shooter hybrid and will feature locations taken from past games in the series.

The game, which will also feature many new levels, will combine first-person, gun-style combat offering multiple weapons and new enemies.

Charactes from past games in the series, including Billy Coen, Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira will return and Capcom has also revealed the Wii Remote will be used as a gun in the game, as gamers combat hordes of oncoming zombies.

No release date has yet been announced for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.
