The DLC will enable users to assume the identity of popular Metal Gear Solid character Gray Fox in the game.
The DLC also enables fans to use and upgrade the character's Fox Blade.
The news comes after Hideo Kojima revealed that Metal Gear Rising was originally to star Gray Fox instead of Raiden.
The series creator said that the katana-wielding character was made protagonist at the last minute on the suggestion of his staff at Kojima Productions.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was officially unveiled at last year's Spike TV Video Game Awards, although the announcement trailer was leaked before the event.
Developed by Bayonetta and Vanquish studio Platinum Games, the title stars Raiden and features fast-paced hack-and-slash gameplay.
It was recently announced that it will support post-launch DLC in the form of new characters and missions.
Konami announced a number of new projects to tie in with the franchise's 25th anniversary, including open-world prequel Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and a motion picture.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released on February 22 in Europe and February 19 in North America.
