
Pixar's Cars video game, based on the animated movie of the same name, is to enjoy a sequel after publisher THQ revealed its plans to develop the game for Xbox 360, PS2, PS2, Wii, DS and Game Boy Advance.
Cars has proved to be the most successful Disney Pixar game to date, shifting seven million copies worldwide.
The new game, entitled Cars Mater-National will offer fans a new adventure set in the world of Radiator Springs. It will feature all-new international characters all wanting a chance to compete against Lightning McQueen in the First Annual Mater-National Race Festival.
The game will feature new tracks, new mini-games and more than 10 multiplayer options.
Cars Mater-National is scheduled for an autumn release.
