Media Molecule teases mystery new game announcement with Toyah video

By
Media Molecule is teasing a mystery new game announcement on its website.

Under the games section of the Media Molecule site, the LittleBigPlanet developer has a page marked with a question mark.

Clicking on the question mark launches a YouTube video of Toyah song 'It's a Mystery'.

With Sony expected to unveil the PlayStation 4 on February 20, Media Molecule's mystery game could be a next-generation release.

The news comes after Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed developer Sumo Digital was rumoured to be working on LittleBigPlanet 3.

Media Molecule is known to have a number of unannounced projects in development and is currently working on Tearaway for the PlayStation Vita.

Tearaway takes place in a papercraft world where players will have to guide their messenger both using traditional controls and through direct interaction with the world.

For example, players can tap on the rear touch panel to poke their finger through the paper environment and defeat enemies or solve puzzles.

Media Molecule describes the game as a "buddy movie" between the player and their messenger on the Vita screen.

Tearaway will be available on PS Vita later this year.
