PlayStation 4 new teaser video looks back at the PS3 - watch

By
Sony has released a third teaser video on its YouTube channel to build up hype ahead of next week's PlayStation press conference.

The video looks back at the launch and development of Sony's third console, the PlayStation 3.

Sony is widely expected to unveil the PlayStation 4 at its February 20 press conference, with images of what is believed to be prototype controllers for the console recently leaking online.

The peripherals appear similar in design to the standard PS3 controller, except with a touchpad at the centre and a light at the top that is expected to function in the same way as the orb at the end of the Move controller.

Details on the hardware specs for Sony's new console were recently leaked along with reports that the system will feature 4K resolution support in line with a rumoured new range of Sony TVs.

More recent reports suggest that the console will have the ability to stream full games thanks to the cloud technology Sony acquired when it bought Japanese company Gaikai.
