The Majestic Map Pack features three new maps for the game's multiplayer along with the new Infinity Rumble multiplayer mode.
The new maps include Landfall, Monolith and Skyline, all of which are mid-sized maps designed for close-quarters on-foot multiplayer battles.
Landfall is the most varied of the new maps, offering both indoor and outdoor areas.
Monolith is a square arena-style map with four bases around the rim offering a clear line of sight to the middle of the level.
Skyline is the smallest map for Halo 4 multiplayer, offering quick combat for 2v2 and 4v4 matches.
Infinity Rumble is a new free-for-all multiplayer mode where players can gain personal ordinance power-ups for earning medals in the match.
Infinity Rumble will be exclusive to users with the Majestic Map Pack for a limited time after launch, though Microsoft did not specify when the mode will be available to all users.
The map pack will also add two new multiplayer matchmaking lists with Majestic FFA DLC and Majestic Team DLC lists which will only match up players on the new levels.
It is the second multiplayer DLC for Halo 4 following last year's Crimson Map Pack. A third DLC titled the Castle Map Pack is slated for April 1.
The Majestic Map Pack will be available on Xbox Live from February 25 for 800 MS points.
