French mobile phone video game producer Gameloft has secured the rights to Bruce Willis forthcoming action flick, Live Free or Die Hard.
And with no spin-off console versions signed-up, the only way to relive the fourth Die Hard film will be to play it on a mobile phone.
Publisher Gameloft said, "The movie involves a criminal plot targeting the nation's computer infrastructure and threatening the technological foundations of the U.S. economy. Gameloft worked closely with Fox to ensure that the game captures the story and essence of the film".
In Live Free or Die Hard, gamers will step into the role of John McClane and embark on 13 levels of fights and car chases through the streets of Washington, as well playing mini-game puzzles.
The movie Live Free or Die Hard will open at cinemas across the UK on July 6. No release date has yet been announced for the mobile phone game.
