The 'Cars' play set, which is the fourth to be announced, includes Lightning McQueen, Mater, Holley Shiftwell and Francesco Bernoulli, and takes place in the virtual world of Radiator Springs.
Players will be able to customise the town in preparation for an international racing event, exploring the outskirts and towing vehicles.
Users will also be able to race on full-sized tracks and pull off "amazing, gravity defying feats" in a stunt park.
In Toy Box mode, the characters from 'Cars' will be able to interact with other toys, while players will have the option to create racing challenges and build tracks.
Announced last month, Disney Infinity is a new platform from Disney that combines physical figurines with a video game similar to Activision's Skylanders series.

Play Sets are essentially self-contained and story-driven worlds for each respective Disney universe, each featuring their own combat systems, toys and gameplay styles.
Meanwhile, Toy Box allows players to freely mix and match franchises and gadgets, along with having deep customisation features to edit the environment and even create new games.
Disney Infinity will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii and Wii U from June 28.
