The money raised by the customised Xbox 360 will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping disadvantaged children.
Nick Segger, Xbox Group Marketing Manager, said: "Xbox would like to thank everyone who participated in the auctions for lending their support to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The response to the whole Konsoles for Kids campaign has been fantastic, and the way Halo fans have reacted to the Halo 3 console has just been overwhelming. We're very hopeful of setting a new world record for a console sold."
