PS3 firmware update to go live

The latest PlayStation 3 firmware update is due to go live soon, according to the latest online reports.
The 2.0 update will offer a host of features including a new wallpaper option and theme setting, allowing the user to fully customise their PS3.
A muitple chat session will give users the chance to open up a discussion amongst a group, while new photo effects offers the chance to dress up pictures from a digital camera.
Other extras include password protection, an option to access the XcrossMediaBar during gameplay, the chance to include your own photo as your avatar and an RSS feed.
