Asda launches games price war

Walmart-owned supermarket chain Asda has announced a new price war, with gamers there enjoying bumper savings.

Boss Andy Bond has stated that the public are now feeling the pinch as a result of recent interest rate rises, so it is now more important than ever to keep prices low.

Asda Online is currently offering Xbox 360 titles Kameo and Prey and Gun for just £12.97. There are also titles on sale for £13.97, £15.97 and games such as F.E.A.R., Pro Evolution Soccer 6, Football Manager 2007 and Lego Star Wars II are on sale for £17.97.

On PlayStation 3 the store is selling Sonic the Hedgehog and World Snooker Championship 2007 for £30.97, while Genji is available for £31.97.

On Wii, Rampage is on sale for £14.97, while Game Boy Advance owners can enjoy Ultimate Spider-Man for £6.97.
