'No Mercy' will let users play as any of the four survivors from Left 4 Dead 2 - Coach, Ellis, Rochelle and Nick - in the PC-exclusive mode.

The Witch and Mini-Tank special infected from Left 4 Dead 2 will also appear in the new mode, mixed in among the regular Resident Evil 6 enemies.

Later in the spring, the crossover will make its way to Left 4 Dead 2 with the Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman enemies from Resident Evil 6 appearing as special infected.

No Resident Evil 6 playable characters will be brought over officially, though Capcom is encouraging users to create their own character models and import them through Steam Workshop.

All crossover content will be exclusive to the PC versions of each game, and will be available as a free download through Steam.
