The co-chairman of leading Hollywood special effects studio Digital Domain, whose firm has worked on blockbusters such as 'Titanic' and 'The Day After Tomorrow', has announced his intention to sign up a number of top movie directors to get involved in the games business.
Michael Bay, who has directed the movie adaptation of the 'Transformers', aims to give Hollywood directors direct access to the game making process while developing four to five games in the next two years.
Bay's company plans to open up its own games unit and is currently looking to acquire 'one or more' established games companies this year.
