By
Following Microsoft's E3 press conference earlier this evening is EA's presentation, which will begin streaming at 9pm UK.

Expect a full look at Titanfall, the first game from Respawn Entertainment, as well as Battlefield 4, FIFA 14 and possibly a first taste of some Star Wars games.

> Follow our ongoing E3 2013 coverage

You can keep track of the announcements with the following live stream or via our blog updates below. The conference will start at 9pm UK time (6pm ET, 1pm PT).

21:58And that concludes EA's E3 press conference. Many thanks for joining us this evening.

21:58The footage looks true to the original, same backdrop, same first-person platforming and combat. The teaser trailer says that it will be released "when it is ready". Faith is back, but we're not sure when.

21:56And to wrap things up, it's a trailer for Mirrors Edge 2. It is finally being announced from the look of things.

21:55An enemy chopper looms overhead. The squad leader orders one of his teammates to take it down using a rocket launcher. Some of these commands are being carried out using a tablet, though the specifics are a little unclear.

21:53They come under fire from a tank, and later a jeep. This is frantic stuff, no less than the fans would expect from a Battlefield title. The squad then take to the water on jet skis!

21:51A five-person squad lands in a chopper and encounters enemy fire almost immediately. They quickly neutralise the area, clearing out a nearby building of enemies.

21:49There will be new social features through a network called Battlelog, that will allow players to interact on multiple devices. We are being treated to some footage now - the 'Siege of Shanghai' multiplayer map. That gets a good reception from the crowd.

21:48Battlefield 4 time. Patrick Bach takes to the stage to discuss the evolution... or Levolution of the series. Levolution is the name they are giving to the new system that makes for more realistic warfare.

21:45The game will launch worldwide on Xbox One and PS4 next spring. The trailer is coming up...

21:45There are some groundbreaking new features in the latest instalment. A new MMAI system will let gamers "see and feel how fighters respond to every strike and every submission". That has apparently "never been done before".

21:43Dana White, president of UFC, is explaining why UFC is such a great sport. "Fighting is in our DNA, we get it and we like it". I'm not sure everyone would agree with that as such.

21:42UFC announcer Bruce Buffer takes to the stage to introduce EA executives using the full capacity of his powerful vocal chords. Andrew Wilson is detailing the next entry in EA's UFC series.

21:40Stadiums will be more realistic thanks to Ignite. A recreation of Barca's Camp Nou is show on-screen to demonstrate this. Player AI has been beefed up, with players making four times more calculations per second. There will be dozens of more moves added to your box of tricks as well. The game is coming to Xbox One and PS4 "this fall".

21:39Ha, he was only there in a "fan" capacity. More FIFA details on the way...

21:38Drake has taken to the stage to discuss FIFA. I'm not quite sure why he is an authority on it. Anyone?

21:36An introductory video for FIFA 14 is up now... Barcelona's first-team are discussing the new features of the game.

21:35It will feature the true-step locomotion system, offering more precise footwork. Player AI will be increased dramatically thanks to the power of EA Sports Ignite. Players will move and think more like NFL athletes. It's been given quite the visual overhaul too. Adrian Peterson will feature on its cover design.

21:32Madden NFL 25 is up next...

21:32A trailer for the game is now playing, starring Irving.

21:31Data from the real-life NBA will be delivered to the game within hours after it has happened, something that has "never been done before". This will include player and team stats.

21:31The game will offer more realistic ball physics and dribbling through a system dubbed BounceTek. Ball-handling will be more natural, with many more animations than before. Players will be able to be more creative and expressive.

21:29It will be exclusive to Xbox One and PS4, we know that much at least.

21:29NBA Live 14 is up first. Kyrie Irving of NBA fame is here to help introduce the game.

21:27Andrew Wilson, executive vice president, has taken to the stage, promising to unveil the capacity of EA Sports Ignite tonight.

21:26Okay, it's EA Sports time!

21:26"Darkness closes in... will you stand against it, or lead this world to its bitter end?" Sounds like the game will heavily hinge on moral choices.

21:25A trailer is playing - the camera pans over a battlefield in the aftermath of a war. Bodies are strewn everywhere and parts of the arena are aflame.

21:24Next up is Dragon Age: Inquisition, a game that we are told is "the next-generation of RPGs".

21:24Paul looked like he had a great time shooting the film. There's lots of clips of him driving some downright classy cars at breakneck speed. Will it be anything more than a Fast & Furious knockoff? We'll find out next year.

21:22Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul has taken to the stage. He is starring in the Need for Speed movie, and he's here to present footage from that. This should be interesting...

21:21The player is blazing through a rain-soaked course, the sense of speed is palpable and the animation is flawless. Need for Speed fans are in for a treat.

21:19We are going to see some second-screen functionality here, with one player calling in a helicopter using a tablet device to help another.

21:19Need for Speed Rivals will feature a strong online focus and is based on a rivalry between cops and racers. We are about to be treated to some gameplay footage from the next-gen racer.

21:17But they are only teasing that reveal at the moment, as footage from Need for Speed Rivals takes the spotlight.

21:16Oh my word, it's a Star Wars: Battlefront game!

21:16Up next is an all-new blockbuster based on FrostBite 3, developed by DICE.

21:16EA claims that it has created "all-new" software engines to take advantage of the PS4 and Xbox One hardware. They are Frostbite 3 and EA Sports Ignite. All of the games on show for the remainder of this press conference will be built using these engines.

21:14The game will have a big multiplayer focus. The gameplay footage looks very impressive. Gigantic robot titans are firing heavy weaponry, futuristic soldiers are running up walls. The first-person shooter is a saturated genre, but I would say there is room for more titles like this!

21:12This is an introductory video, rather than a trailer. The developers say that their intention was to create a first-person shooter experience that was "so fun and unique that we couldn't put down ourselves".

21:11No details on that one, apparently. We are on to Titanfall now, the first game from Respawn Entertainment. A trailer is now playing.

21:11Peggle 2 has been announced! Kiss your social life goodbye.

21:10The four players are working together to take down a huge zombie boss. Vintage co-op stuff.

21:09Apologies, the game is actually a third-person shooter. It has all of the comedy gold and charm of the mobile title before it. There is one player controlling a cactus, picking off enemies from a distance. Now a disco-dancing zombie has entered the arena, performing dancing attacks.

21:06Hang on, this is a new entry in the series - Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare! It's a first-person, multiplayer title coming to Xbox One and later Xbox 360. Some footage from the game's four-player co-op survival mode incoming.

21:05First up, it's a look at the Plants vs Zombies sequel with a video showing the future of garden warfare. The undead battle those deadly pieces of vegetation against some corny country music.

21:03He's promising a look at the next Madden, Battlefield 4 and Titanfall for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as some "big surprises".

21:02Peter Moore, EA's chief operating officer, has taken to the stage.

21:01Looks like we are under way here...

21:00Mirror's Edge 2 is another potential reveal. That one has been rumoured off and on for as far back as I can remember. I would personally like to see a new entry in that series. The original may have been flawed, but there was a lot of potential to explore in a follow-up.

20:57Evening all, we should be up and running shortly. Tonight we can expect a look at FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, and Titanfall, the first game from Respawn Entertainment. A new Star Wars title is also a strong possibility.
