Ubisoft has been talkative about the new generation of consoles, saying Xbox One and PS4 have received twice as many pre-orders as the previous generation, and that they won't be the last.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag was officially announced in February, and follows pirate Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin's Creed 3.

The game's environment is claimed to be the biggest in the franchise so far, with 50 unique locations including the cities of Havana, Kingston and Nassau, as well as smugglers' coves, fishing villages, plantations and jungles.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be released on November 1 in Europe and October 29 in North America for Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, the PS3 and PS4.
