'Simpsons' creator to appear in new game
Simpsons creator Matt Groening has revealed that he is to personally appear in a forthcoming Electronic Arts game based on the hit TV show.

Groening, spoke alongside executive producer AI Jean at a press event in London's Leicester Square promoting the new Simpsons movie, explained that he will appear as an end of game boss.

"Well the video game is mainly written by great writers, Matt Selman and Matt Warburton - I mean, you can just tell. Great, right?" Groening said.

"They did a send-up of videogames. It’s a videogame about videogames; and I’m in the videogame. I’m a boss that you have to fight at the end of the game.

"It was really fun recording a million ways of dying, going ‘UGGH, ARGGH, EUURGH!’."

The Simpsons videogame is due out on DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and X360 in the autumn.
