Nintendo to end Wii shortages?

According to a report by MCV, the firm is expected to announce SunPlus Technology and Wistron Corp as new partners.
Wistron will reportedly assemble the console, while SunPlus will concentrate on controller chips.
The site also claims that Taiwan-based Lite-On will become involved with providing power supplies for the consoles.
If the report is correct, the outsourcing of Wii production could mean an end to the ongoing problem of Wii shortages on the high street.
