'Smoking' problem with 360 racing wheel

Gamers who own an Xbox 360 Wireless Wheel are being asked to contact Microsoft after it was revealed 'a small number' of them have been overheating.
The firm has said that, although no reported incidences of fire, personal injury or property damage has occurred due to using the wheel, it is asking users to contact them for a free retrofit to cure the problem.
According to Microsoft, a small number of wheels have released smoke when the AC-DC power is used to power the steering wheel device.
The firm has stated users should stop using the AC-DC power supply until they have obtained their retrofit, though the wheel can still be used safely using battery power.
Owners of the wheel can visit www.xbox.com/support or called Microsoft on (0800) 587 1102 to register for a retrofit.
