'Star Wars' lightsaber duels coming to Wii
Published Thursday, Sep 20 2007, 10:03 BST | By David Gibbon

The game, which has already been confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, is expected to become a best-seller when released on Wii as it will be the first time the famous Star Wars lightsaber battles have been physically recreated on a games system.
“The Wii is a great platform for The Force Unleashed because the console's motion-oriented controllers really bring the game to life,” LucasArts president Jim Ward stated.
“We've worked hard to make the Wii version of the game unique in order to truly let you unleash the Force.”
The Wii version, along with the current-gen PS2 and PSP editions, will be handled by Krome Studios, the same team behind popular kids' platformer Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is expected to be released early 2008.
