Lego Star Wars: The Complete Sega aims to lure gamers by offering them the chance to use the Wii Remote as a virtual lightsaber, with the company claiming it has the potential to be this year's Christmas number one.
Richard Earl from TT Games’ marketing division told MCV: “The Wii controller offers all sorts of new, fun and accessible ways for people to play with Lego characters – and swinging away with your lightsaber is a brilliantly cool part of the Lego Jedi experience.
“Vader’s new Force Choke/Force Throw move has a particularly big impact, when you’re flinging enemies around using the Wii controller. Of course we hope The Complete Saga can hit the Christmas number one spot, but there are many other strong titles on the horizon. We’ll have to wait and see.”
LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is not due for release until Spring, offering gamers the chance to play as Darth Vader’s ‘secret apprentice’, wielding the Wii remote as a lightsaber and using the nunchuck to unleash the Force.
