LucasArts' Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga will be shown to the public for the first time during the festival, and fans will also be able to partake in lightsaber battles using the Wii Remote.
A spokesman from GameCity said: "Since the first film's debut 30 years ago, fans have longed for the day when they could fight their own lightsaber duels. Now, thanks to the Wii's motion-sensitive controller, The Complete Saga will finally make that fantasy a reality, allowing players to battle with thrusts and slices of the Remote. GameCity is thrilled to give gamers a chance to be the first in the world to see and try the lightsaber first-hand in a worldwide exclusive premiere of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for Wii."
GameCity is a gaming festival spread across four days, 25 venues and an expected 3,000 attendees, promising premiere screenings and exclusive appearances, with many mainstream publishers and developers signed up to take part.
The festival will hold a special Star Wars day on October 26, when gamers will get the chance to play Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga as well as listen to a special presentation from the game's developer, Jonathan Smith.
