Publisher Eidos Interactive has today confirmed that its latest edition of the best-selling Championship Manager will be released on November 2 for PC, as well as unveiling a downloadable demo of the game.

Developed by London-based Beautiful Studios, Championship Manager 2008 comes with a host of new updates and features.

A spokesman from Eidos said: "Championship Manager 2008 is fully updated for the 2007/2008 football season with a brand new look and user interface, making it the most easily accessible title in the series to date. The game also boasts a vastly improved 3-D match engine with greater realism, more available players and staff than ever before, a unique training system allowing you to mould your players’ skills and the ability to play with your friends over one PC."
