Sega unveils 'House of the Dead' on Wii

Hugely popular zombie shooter House of the Dead is being brought back to life after Sega announced it is to release a compilation featuring both House of the Dead II and House of the Dead III on Nintendo Wii.

Compatible with the Wii Zapper as well as the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, both games require players to have a fast trigger finger as they eliminate hordes of oncoming zombies.

“The House of the Dead franchise has been revamped for today’s gamer looking for fast-paced shooting action on the Wii,” said Gary Knight, marketing director of Sega Europe. “Utilising the new Wii Zapper, the player can get the renowned light gun experience in their own home.”

The franchise, famed for offering gamers armies of parading zombie enemies across a number of environments and levels, will be released on Nintendo Wii in Spring 2008.
