Gamers who think they have the X Factor can now find out if their voice is up to scratch after Sony announced it has hired the former Millennium Dome to offer singers the chance to have a go at the PlayStation 3 release of SingStar.
The firm has opened three soundproof pods at the O2 Arena, which are located inside the main entrance, to allow anyone to go along for a 30-minute slot and sing to their heart's content.
Each pod at the arena, which will be open until December 18, will also hold up to seven friends with slots allocated on a first come first served basis.
Apart from the SingStar pods, those attending will also be able to enter the SingStar studio lounge to learn more about the game and stylists will be on hand to dress people up.
Sony product manager Lucy Garnett said: “This is the ultimate SingStar experience, where gamers and up to seven friends can enjoy singing their hearts out in one of three themed studios for free. These even come equipped with stylists ready to buff, glitter and beautify them.”
SignStar on PlayStation 3 will be released December 7.
