An online game spin-off based on Noel Edmonds TV quiz show Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year-Old? has surprised its makers after it signed up 12,000 players in just four weeks.
The title, which was played 230,000 times during its October launch month, is designed to see if gamers know more than a 10-year-old school pupil. It covers subjects such as French, English, Maths, Science and History.
David Lane, managing director of games developer Bright AI, said: “We are absolutely delighted at being involved with the Are You Smarter? game. The straightforward and fun nature of the game, coupled with the TV show appeal, encourages even the non-gamers among us to have a go, enjoy, learn and improve their score. The web game is ideal for all the family and friends, and is so accessible; anyone with a PC and internet can play and get started straight away.”
Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old? is available now on Sky One’s website.
