According to industry reports, the DS version of the game will be different from the console game with new modes such as Exhibition, Penalty Shoot-Out, Konami Cup and a World Cup Tour. The game is also believed to support up to four players in its multiplayer mode.
The Portable PlayStation version, however, will allegedly be more like the PS2 release, with tournaments, leagues and a World Tour mode.
Konami said both editions of the game will be released sometime between January and March next year, though it added that it could not be more specific at present.
