Game announced for 2008 Disney-Pixar film
Expected to be one of this summer's movie blockbusters, Disney-Pixar film WALL-E has been signed up by THQ in a bid to release the official video game.

The game will see players control characters WALL-E and EVE as they explore ten worlds based on the film. Head-to-head multiplayer challenges will accompany the single-player adventure.

The multi-format title, which will be released for PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC, Mac and wireless devices, continues the four-year agreement between THQ and Disney following the release of Ratatouille.

The WALL-E film, which tells the futuristic story of the last robot on Earth, has been directed by Finding Nemo supremo Andrew Stanton.

Both game and movie will be released in the summer of 2008.
