
Nintendo has announced the best-selling first-party games on its DS and Wii systems across Europe and the UK, with Nintendogs topping the list after selling eight million copies.
While Wii Play was the best-selling game on the Wii, shifting 2.3 million copies, Nintendogs on Nintendo DS heads up the firm's best-sellers.
Nintendo, which announced it has sold six million Wii consoles and 20 million DS handhelds across Europe and the UK as of January 2008, also revealed it has sold 20 million Wii consoles worldwide, and a staggering 64 million DS handheld devices.
Earlier today, Nintendo announced nine month profits to December 31 of $2.43 billion dollars, almost double that of the previous year.
