EA
John Riccitiello told GameDaily: "We think about [resurrecting] franchises a lot. Road Rash is one that keeps coming up in brainstorming sessions.
"EA has created so many great titles, it's tough to keep up with them all.
“I wish we could make those games but the truth is that there are more good ideas in this industry than there are skilled, experienced people to turn them into games.”
Six versions of Road Rash were published between 1991 to 1999, with the last iteration Road Rash Jailbreak released in March 2000.
The series was famed for its chain-wielding riders who could used illegal means to knock opponents off their motorbikes in order to gain an advantage.
