Gamers choosing a new console will buy an Xbox 360 due to online service Xbox Live being the 'big differentiator' when compared to rivals such as the PlayStation Network, Microsoft president Robbie Bach has claimed.
The Xbox 360 chief told Investor.com: "Xbox Live is a big differentiator for us. That drives a significant amount of energy around what’s on with Xbox.”
Bach claimed that exclusive downloadable material for forthcoming game Grand Theft Auto IV is one reason why Microsoft's online service is better than the PlayStation Network.
“You don't have the same experience (with other consoles) that you get with Xbox Live," Bach claims. "That does drive people to the platform."
