'Manhunt 2' will be marketed "responsibly"
Manhunt 2 developer Rockstar has promised that the controversial horror game will be marketed "responsibly".

The game will finally be released in Britain after Rockstar successfully challenged the BBFC's refusal to grant it UK certification.

Following the decision by the Video Appeals Committee, the BBFC announced that it "had no alternative" but to award the title an 18 certificate.

"We are pleased that the VAC has reaffirmed its decision recognising that Manhunt 2 is well within the bounds established by other 18+ rated entertainment," Rockstar said in a statement.

"Rockstar Games is committed to making great interactive entertainment, while also marketing our products responsibly and supporting an effective rating system."
