Xbox Live cheats to be named and shamed
Microsoft has announced a radical new policy in a bid to crack down on Xbox Live users who are illegally improving their game scores online.

The firm has vowed to name and shame all cheats by marking the offenders' gamercards for all to see.

It will also reset the user's score to zero and prevent them from regaining any previously earned achievements, though they will be allowed to earn new scores thereafter.

According to a report by Eurogamer, the firm will also "place the offender in stocks on the Xbox Live village green and allow other users to throw virtual rotten tomatoes at them".
