Games publisher Empire Interactive has unveiled new screenshots from its forthcoming car smash-em-up PC game FlatOut Ultimate Carnage.
The series, which has sold over two million copies since its launch, saw the Xbox 360 edition named 'Best Racing Game of 2006'.
The PC edition will feature a 'Deathproof' experience with carnage gameplay modes and 'enhanced graphics to rival the Xbox 360 version'. It will also feature online multiplayer options, with the winner the first person to get across the finish line in a 'no holds barred' extreme driving test.
Ian Higgins, CEO of Empire Interactive, said: “We are very excited about bringing FlatOut Ultimate Carnage to PC gamers. Research suggests that arcade racers are becoming ever more popular on the PC, with the Xbox 360 controller providing the perfect way to enjoy the genre. Ultimate Carnage is an entirely new prospect for PC and we’re excited to be bringing FlatOut’s unique gameplay experience to PC gamers everywhere.”
FlatOut Ultimate Carnage will be released at 'the end of June/early July' on PC.
