The DS and Wii game, which will see players compete in the World Racing League against up to 19 others across rollercoaster-style tracks, features the T180 race car seen in the film.
According to publisher Warner Bros, the title promises "a combative racing experience like no other", adding that the car will feature "four independently turning wheels that allow drivers to engage in “car fu” to jump, flip, and outmaneuver their opponents".
The firm also boasts that the car can travel in excess of 350mph across tracks that offer "loops, corkscrews, jumps as well as other obstacles and challenges".
The live-action film is a remake of the 1960's Japanese animated series. Created as a family film, the entire movie, which was produced against a greenscreen, was filmed using a layering method to put both the foreground and the background of scenes in focus to have a real-life anime appearance.
