Published Thursday, May 8 2008, 09:03 BST | By David Gibbon

Developed by Free Radical Design, who also worked on the TimeSplitters series, the demo offers full co-op play and a split-screen mode.
According to Ubisoft, the demo "gives gamers a taste of not only the single-player campaign in Haze, but also allows for up to four-player, drop-in drop-out co-op play online, via LAN or even 2 player split-screen".
Set 25 years in the future, gamers take on the role of Jake Carpenter, a newly enlisted soldier in the Mantel army, whose conflict begins in South America battling against a rebel faction.
Featuring weaponry, vehicles and performance-enhancing bio-medical support, the game was designed "from the ground up to take advantage of next generation hardware".
Haze is scheduled for release on May 23.
