Satellite and cable television channel Bravo is to broadcast a new TV series aimed at gamers this weekend.
Playr, which is headed up by former Gamer.tv man Richard Wilcox, is described as a "topical weekly magazine programme which reviews new releases, reports from major gaming events and previews the biggest games first".
The new series will also have two spinoffs in the form of Playr2 and Playr Guide.
Executive producer Richard Wilcox said: "It’s a good time to be launching television series about games.
"We expect to reach around 100,000 gamers every week in the UK and many more than that on TV networks worldwide.”
Playr will air this Saturday on Bravo 2 at 2.30pm and then on Sunday on Bravo at 11am.
