'Walking Dead - Episode Four' releasing in October, Accolades trailer

By
Walking Dead - Episode Four will be released in October, Telltale has announced.

Titled Around Every Corner, the next episode will be penned by Book of Eli writer Gary Whitta and will be launching "very soon this October", reports IGN.

To accompany the announcement, Telltale has released a new trailer, which highlights the critical reaction to the previous chapter.

In the video, Long Road Ahead is described as "an experience that shouldn't be missed" and "another masterpiece from Telltale".

The Walking Dead - Episode One: A New Day launched for PSN, XBLA, PC and Mac in April. It garnered over 1 million sales in just under two weeks.

Episode Two and Three have been released in the months since, although European PSN versions have experienced delays.

With yesterday's confirmation of a boxed retail release of all five episodes in December, it's likely that the final chapter will launch in November.

The third season of the AMC TV show is due to premiere on October 14. New characters include the Governor, played by David Morrissey, and Michonne, played by Danai Gurira.
