Fintan McKeown joins 'Game of Thrones'
Atlus has announced that it is publishing a role-playing game based on Game of Thrones for 2012.

The game promises an adventure more than 30 hours long, with a story taking place during the events of the books written under the supervision of George R R Martin.

Players will choose one of two original characters who were soldiers of King Robert Baratheon during his rise to the throne.

Game of Thrones also promises a unique combat system where "fighting slows but never stops entirely", to allow for strategic strikes.

The game is under development by developer Cyanide, the same studio that created the recent Game of Thrones: Genesis on PC.

Game of Thrones will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in early 2012.
