What's happening? Rihanna begins an eleven-date UK tour at Belfast's Odyssey Arena. Dates in Manchester (December 6), Sheffield (7), Nottingham (8), Birmingham (10), Bournemouth (11), Newcastle (13), Glasgow (14), London (16), Brighton (17) and Cardiff (19) follow.

Why should you care? Rihanna's vocal talents won't have Leona sobbing into Simon Cowell's manly chest, but her Good Girl Gone Bad album contains enough storming floor-fillers to make her live show unmissable. Altogether now: "When the sun shines, we'll shine together…"

Tuesday

What's happening? ITV1 treats us to I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! Coming Out at 9pm.

Why should you care? No, it's not a re-enaction of the moment Christopher Biggins told his mummy he preferred boys to girls. Instead, it's a chance to follow the I'm A Celeb gang as they kiss goodbye to the jungle and return to their everyday lives. We shudder to think what that means for Janice Dickinson.

Wednesday

What's happening? Brighton's Candy Bar hosts an open deck night.

Why should you care? If you bring along three of your favourite tunes (on CD, vinyl or iPod), you'll get to play DJ for a while. Which songs would we spin? Now, that would be telling.... although it's unlikely that Dire Straits would make an appearance.

Thursday

What's happening? Gerry from Big Brother hosts his monthly theme night at London's The Edge bar.

Why should you care? Whatever this month's theme is – though, let's be honest, it's likely to have something to do with Gerry from Big Brother - the garrulous Greek will make a great host for the evening.

Friday

What's happening? Dance Out Loud hosts an "ecstatic dance class for the gay community" at London's central YMCA.

Why should you care? Hmm. Don't you want to find out what an "ecstatic dance class" actually is? We'd imagine Lionel Blair has something to do with it.

Saturday

What's happening? Biography treats us to George Michael Unplugged at 10pm.

Why should you care? The LAPD's favourite singer sings live, gives a "warts-and-all" interview, then ropes in Geri Halliwell and Elton John to tell us how marvellous he is. Honestly, we couldn't ask for more from our Saturday night telly.

Sunday

What's happening? Sky One screens the final of Cirque de Celebrite at 7.30pm.

Why should you care? This is our last chance ever to see Kyal Marsh in lycra. Thank heavens for Sky+, eh?
