She's already huge - she doesn't need to try again when shes lives off her interest in the bank. I don't think she cares about what you people think.

Loving the new song, but was disappointed with her apparent lack of effort, but let's not forget that she has been troubled of late and is only just back performing. It wasn't the best, but let's hope she can build on it and be the star that she is.

Britney is and always will be famous. All she needs to do is lose a little weight and record some good songs. I could guarantee that they would be #1 hits, and she will make a huge comeback. All the celebrities that make fun of her are jealous because she's more famous them. She was once the sponsor for Peps,i getting paid over 90 million dollars on that one contract alone. How many celebrities can do that? Not that many. All she has to do is party and live the famous life. Kevin Federline is nothing but a loser that got famous off of britney. CHARLIE from BRENTWOOD: you can't sing like her and you're not a famous or rich person don't hate.

To be honest, I think people are being very harsh on her. No matter what people say she's been through a lot and is currently in a custody battle for her children. I mean, don't get me wrong the performance wasnt great but it was okay. Just give her a break - the song's good guys. Let's wait for the album to see if its a flop before we start judging the girl :] xx

I would like to say that the performance was just fine... but the song is not!

I eagerly awaited this performance and couldn't help but feel a bit let down, although it wasn't bad to the point that most have made it out to be (It was her first major performance in how many years? Give her a break!). All I pray for is that the video is something spectacular to save the single!

It was dire . Britney herself looked embarrassed herself. She was limp and simply gave the impression she'd rather be somewhere else - like the back of limo with Paris and Lindsay. Saying that I still think she's head and shoulders above Aguilera!

1. She is beautiful , she ain't no zombie 2. She is not overweight, she's got a women's body to die for PLUS shes had 2 kids 3. She looked happy, not like a zombie 4. Her performance was amazing. Britney, I hope you make it to the top again - in my books you'll always be the best.

The girl has totally lost it - she needs to get rid of the yes men and hangers on and seek out some professional help.

If what happened backstage was true I would not have performed but she went on to show her face and introduce (officially) her music to the world for the fans. Britney may have made a lot of mistakes in her life but they're very magnified and publicised to the entire world and it's not fair. I'll be behind Britney even if I was disappointed with the show but I do agree it was entirely as bad as people made it out to be. Because she is Britney Spears and they: A) Either had high expectations - when you've danced with a python, kissed Madonna and stripped on stage what more can you do? She wanted mirrors and had a magic act planned, where were they? B) Jumping on the Britney-bashing bandwagon. I've watched the rehearsal and it's so much better than what actually happened so between rehearsals and the real thing something must have happened to make her not want to put in 100%.

I honestly don't believe it was as bad as people are making out. It wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be, but would anyone give a good performance when you hear some comedien branding your children the "most adorable, cutest mistakes"? I know I wouldn't. When she did actually dance it wasn't bad. I don't think she looked overweight; people are saying she's chubby compared to the 2003/4 Britney but since then she's had two kids so shes not going to look the same. She still looks good.

Yeah, it kinda sucked. I was really hoping for a slave 4u-esque routine, which was probably completely unrealistic. It's just so sad to see how dead-eyed she was throughout the performance - there was none of the energy that she used to have. At times she was just stood there, waving her arms. I think the single is good enough to bounce back from sunday, but I hope that her personal drama doesn't overshadow it.

I know the performance wasn't outstanding and all, but I really don't think it's as bad as everyone is making out. It appears to me that every media person has jumped on the bandwagon to try and slate Britney at the earliest opportunity. It's like the line from Mel C's 'Northern Star': "They build you up so they can tear you down." I feel that's exactly what's happened to Britney and it's not altogether deserved.

I've watched the performance a few times now & really it's not THAT bad, people are seriously over hyping the mistakes. There is pictures that show her left heal is broken. If the backstage events are true then kudos to her for even performing. It wasn't a "bad" performance just a bit more Blue Peter at teatime than MTV live comeback, is all.

I'd been looking forward to this performance but it was a real let-down. She'll have to do much better if she wants to become huge again.
