Gay Spy: New kids on the block
Warning: if the PC you're using is located in a communal area, you’d be well-advised to fetch yourself a nice plump sofa cushion before you read on.

Age: 25
Profession: Future disco-funk superstar
This cheeky east Londoner is determined to put the fizz back into pop music. "I'm really bored with cool and credible. I just like having fun," Ali told Gay Spy recently. "If I cross the line into making something that some people think is cheesy, then it doesn't really bother me." Amen to that! Gay Spy very much enjoyed Ali's gig in a west London sweat-box last week, partly because he ran the musical gamut from sun-dappled party-funk to Springsteen-style rawk anthems, but mainly because he wore a fitted white vest and a lovely pair of package-framing trousers.

Age: 19
Profession: Actor
As well as making Charlie from Busted look a bit cack-handed with the old hair straighteners, dishy Mr. Dekker is a fast-rising TV star. He plays Zach – the gayest TV character ever to turn out straight – in US fantasy phenomenon Heroes, and is soon to appear in The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a Terminator spin-off to be screened on Virgin 1 in the New Year. Resistance, it seems, is as pointless as trying to make Amy Winehouse stick to the Appletiser.

Age: 21
Profession: Singer/songwriter
Blessed with model-shaming cheekbones, effortless pop smarts and the sort of swooning falsetto that should have Justin Timberlake signing up for a new course of singing lessons, David is poised to become the pop pin-up of 2008. We'll chalk it down to his exotic parentage: David's mother was born in Montserrat, while his father hails from Calcutta. Set The Mood, his Trevor Horn-produced debut album, arrives at your local branch of Woolies next month.

Age: 23
Profession: Actor
This plump-lipped loin-teaser stars as Declan McDonough, an inquisitive bad-boy-come-good, in US sci-fi series Kyle XY. He snagged Gay Spy's attention recently when he whipped off his top to reveal a torso as smooth and delectable as a glass of bit-free orange juice. Yum! If you fancy seeing more of Mr. Olivero, you can catch the new series of Kyle XY on Mondays at 9pm on Trouble. Sadly, gratuitous flesh-flashing is not guaranteed.

Age: 17
Profession: Professional Skateboarder/Reality TV star
Here at Gay Spy there's nothing we like more than a fit boy with a big, hard plank... of wood beneath his feet. That's right, Ryan's a professional skateboarder! But not just any professional skateboarder - he got his own MTV reality series to boot! He can show us his "frontside" any day of the week - and we're pretty intrigued by his "crooked grind" - but he’ll just have to save his "goofyfoot" for some other boy. Yuck.

Age: 17
Profession: Actor/Model
"You're quite good-looking," Ralph Lauren told the eight-year-old Alex Pettyfer. "You should model for me." The ambitious chappie gratefully accepted the designer's offer, striking poses for a few years before he decided to swap the photo shoot for the film set. He's already appeared alongside Ewan McGregor in Stormbreaker, and is soon to star in Wild Child, Sophie Dahl's screenwriting debut. The only black mark on Mr. Pettyfer's record? He recently shaved off his lovely golden locks. Sob!
