"I don't wanna lose this feeling," Dannii Minogue once admitted, "That you're giving me every time I need it." We're not sure if she was talking about the Gay Spy guide, but, if she was, cheers very much, Dan! If not, well, we'd like to think that our seven-day entertainment bible injects a bit of pleasure into your week... especially as, unlike Dannii, most of us don't have a couple of strapping young men to keep us occupied.

What's happening? Season one of Heroes is released on DVD.
Why should you care? If you aren't excited about owning 2007's greatest TV show on DVD, this, this and this might just win you over.

What's happening? Animal Planet screens Help Me! My Neighbours Are Baboons at 9pm.
Why should you care? We wouldn't normally recommend a wildlife documentary, but these crack-flashing critters raid fridges, break TV aerials and down gallons of Jack Daniel's. To be honest, they sound a bit like our neighbours.

What's happening? London's Ku Bar celebrates its 12th birthday.
Why should you care? Everyone likes a birthday party... especially when there are "complimentary cocktails" on offer.

What's happening? E4 screens the final episode of Nearly Famous at 11.05pm. Sob!
Why should you care? OK, so it's no Skins, but Aaron Johnson (him on the right) makes E4's latest youth drama worth a watch, especially when he gets his arms out.

What's happening? London's gay, lesbian and bisexual book club meets at the Piccadilly branch of Waterstones.
Why should you care? Well, it's nice to do something cultured once in a while... especially when your weekend's entertainment is likely to be provided by Graham Norton, Sharon Osbourne and the Spice Girls.

What's happening? The Spice Girls play the first of 17 (yes, really!) dates at London's 02 Arena.
Why should you care? Oh, come on! Nostalgia for the nineties practically demands that you attend. If you get bored, you can always play spot-the-union-jack-dress among the 20,000-strong crowd.

What's happening? Sharon Osbourne waxes lyrical on Graham Norton Uncut, airing at 11pm on BBC Two.
Why should you care? This year's X Factor has been the most ridiculous yet, so Graham should have plenty to say to Mrs. O, this year's most ridiculous X Factor judge.
