Gay Spy's Pin-Ups of 2008 Calendar

Published Sunday, Dec 30 2007, 17:49 GMT | By Nick Levine
With the New Year beckoning, it's time to ask yourself a very pressing question: who are you going to drool over next year? To make your life easier, we've tracked down a dozen hunks from the entertainment highlights of 2008, attached each one to the month in which he'll be showcasing his 'talents', and made, if you will, a calendar of crotch-botherers. Et voila!

Mr. January: Ed Speleers

Ed stars in sexy new drama series Echo Beach, beginning January 10 at 9pm on ITV1. Let's hope gratuitous shirtless shots (with or without surfboard) are a regular feature.

Mr. February: Hayden Christensen

Jumper, in which Mr. Christensen stars as a man who can teleport himself anywhere, descends on British multiplexes in February. We know somewhere Hayden can teleport himself right this minute!

Mr. March: Julian McMahon

Dannii Minogue's ex husband - we kid you not - stars in the fifth season of Nip/Tuck, airing on FX in March.

Mr. April: Luke Pritchard

Luke's band The Kooks release Konk, their second album, in April. Rumour has it that one of the group's new songs is called 'Do You Wanna (Make Love To Me)'. Now, we don't really need to answer that one, do we?

Mr. May: Chace Crawford

Chace stars in new US teen drama Gossip Girl, airing on ITV2 in the spring. Hmm. With a little bit of luck - and a lot of flesh-flashing - he could become the new Adam Brody.

Mr. June: Emile Hirsch

Emile is set to rev us up in Speed Racer, one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer.

Mr. July: David Jordan

This hip-wiggling singer is poised to become one of British pop's breakthrough stars of 2008. Nice trousers, David!

Mr. August: Dan Gillespie Sells

The Feeling, featuring the vocal talents of this dashing Dan, will be a fixture on the summer festival circuit.

Mr. September: Shia LaBeouf

Sexy Shia stars in two of 2008's most eagerly-anticipated movies - May's Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and September's Eagle Eye.

Mr. October: Brandon Flowers

The Killers are hurrying to get their third studio album ready for the autumn. By our reckoning, that gives Brandon about ten months to get rid of his dodgy facial hair.

Mr. November: Michael C. Hall

Michael plays a detective with homicidal tendencies - eek! - in Dexter, airing on ITV1 and ITV4 in 2008. Our tip for maximum enjoyment? Make sure you've got a big, fluffy cushion to hide behind before you tune in.

Mr. December: Calvin Goldspink

The S Club Juniors survivor has moved to the States, landed a role in the US remake of Wild At Heart and turned into a cute-as-a-button crotch-botherer. But will Life Is Wild - said remake - ever get shown in the UK?
