Hurrah! Torchwood returns Wednesday at 9pm on BBC Two. The last series of Doctor Who's naughtier, randier brother featured a sex monster, lashings of violence and more swearing than closing time at your local biker pub. The new series promises to be just as titillating, with episode one even containing a bit of man-on-man tongue action. Who's the instigator? Well, it doesn't take a genius to work that one out, does it?

Robyn, a nineties pop survivor if ever we saw one, pulled off last year's most unlikely comeback when 'With Every Heartbeat' became a number one smash. Her new single 'Be Mine' is even better, a heartbreaking tale of unrequited love wrapped in a gleaming electropop package. America's Most Smartest Model, airing Sunday at 9pm on MTV One, is as trashy as its grammatically suspect title suggests. Fourteen "himbos" and "bimbos" compete to prove they're blessed with brains as well as beauty, with the winner receiving a six-figure modelling contract. None of the guys will be bothering Mensa any time soon, but, crucially, each is willing to flash some flesh in pursuit of victory. And very nice flesh it is too.
