Gay Spy's essentials: February 4-11
Published Monday, Feb 4 2008, 16:50 GMT | By Nick Levine
This week's essentials offer a treat for the eyes, a treat for the feet and a treat for the dirty little voyeur who's locked away inside of you. Don't say we never do anything for you, OK?
The one to... watch
Hurrah! The delectable Matt Di Angelo returns to Albert Square on Thursday night. Will Deano be a changed man after doing time for perverting the course of justice? To be honest, if he doesn't come back with a new-found fondness for flashing that amazing chest rug we saw on Strictly, we'll be sending some very angry letters to the EastEnders script-writing team.
The one to... download
'Don't Stop The Music', the fourth single from Rihanna's brilliant Good Girl Gone Bad album, builds a throbbing dancefloor anthem around the "mama-se, mama-sa, mama-ku-sa" vocal hook from Michael Jackson's 'Wanna Be Startin' Something'. As infectious and sexy as the lady herself, if this doesn't get your toes tapping, it's likely that nothing will.
The one to... be your guilty little secret
MTV One's The Bedroom Diaries, airing every week-day at 9pm for the next fortnight, promises to "reveal what teenagers really get up to behind closed doors". The first episode follows the trials and tribulations of 21-year-old Davey - he's a teenager at heart, OK! - an indie kid who doesn't know whether he's gay, straight or bisexual. The question is, will we be able to suss out his sexuality before he can?
