Hollyoaks bad boy Brendan Brady gets an unexpected visitor this week, when his estranged wife, Eileen, turns up in the village. Will the newcomer shed some light on her husband’s shady past?

Actor Emmett J Scanlan tells us why his alter ego, Brendan, is fearful of what she may be able to reveal about his past… “Brendan told Cheryl that he fled Ireland after catching Eileen with another man,” he says. “But that’s a flat-out lie, so having her around could be very dangerous for him.”
