Calum Best and Bianca Gascoigne were announced as the winners of Love Island last night.
The pair had grown closer after the departure of Leo Ihenacho - Bianca's first interest. They split a prize of £100,000.
They beat runners-up Brendan Cole and Kelle Bryan, as well as Kate Lawler, who was voted off earlier. The remaining islanders spent their last night over a slap-up meal with champagne and fireworks.
Commenting on her victory, Bianca said: “I’m an emotional wreck. I’m so happy to be sitting here at the moment. It’s been such a rollercoaster.”
Calum was clear to dismiss any reports of romance: “I’ve enjoyed the time we spent together but we’ve won this as mates. She’s a lovely lady and holds a very special place in my heart – or not. She’s overcome a lot of things in here. I don’t know her well but I’m proud of her. I hope she achieves a lot.”
