A gross oversimplification, but this blog's title was basically the starting point for today's introspective session on trust in TV.
Look out for a full report later, but the consensus at the end of the session seemed to be that trust will only be restored once the different types of deception - PRS naughtiness (Brainteaser), editing naughtiness (that Queen promo) and lying naughtiness (Gordon Ramsay's lack of luck with fish-catching)... oh, and plain old offensive naughtiness (CBB)...are separated out and thoroughly examined in both cultural and procedural terms. No room for gross oversimplifications any more.
